  • Snow Fort Defense updated to v1.1.1

A small patch has been released for Snow Fort Defense which hopefully fixes the visual glitch when unlocking Game Jolt trophies. This is the last update for Snow Fort Defense. For more information about the game, click here.

  • Snow Fort Defense now available in Game Jolt too!

Snow Fort Defense is now also available on Game Jolt and supports both high scores and trophies! As I had previously mentioned, the online high scores was a feature I was planning on implementing since the start but I decided to also try adding Game Jolt trophies support after seeing how easy it would be to implement them.

Due to the fact that the original game wasn’t designed with an achievement system in mind, there is currently a small visual glitch when ever a trophy is unlocked, which will probably be fixed in a future patch. Besides that, though, the trophies unlock as they should and the game works the same. And, of course, the online high score system works perfectly.

You can play the new version of Snow Fort Defense at the URL below. The itch.io and IndieDB pages will be updated in the next few minutes.

  • Update about a few things including future projects

Just a quick update about the current status of things here at NovaFan Games and about future projects.

First, wanted to mention quickly about the current games we have that Snow Fort Defense may be the only one that gets an update. That would probably be to update the highscore system since that’s the main point of that game.

Next, a bit of news and announcements about future projects.

    • “Castle Climber”(probably not final title) will be a small Web game focusing on using a minimum amount of buttons and colors, just like an old Game&Watch game. It’ll be the next game released as the main part of the gameplay is already done. The gameplay focus of it is to get the highest score as possible, similar to old arcade games or Game&Watch games. Made in Unity3D.
    • “Exit Door” will probably be the next released game (not really sure, though). As already specified in the game’s page, the game stars a blue robot trying to find the real exit in each room. The game does need to be redone, though, as the previous code is really old now. It’ll be a downloadable game for all computer OS, Windows, Linux, and OS X. Made in Unity3D.
    • And the latest and newest thing, currently only in codename and design stages. Project “Never Stop Dreaming” will be retro styled action platform game. With inspiration from Super Mario Bros. and Mega Man. Very likely will be a downloadable game too. Made in Unity3D.

And that’s all the news for now.

  • Snow Fort Defense and Rie’s Candy Catch now on WebGL

I just ported Rie’s Candy Catch and Snow Fort Defense to WebGL, so there shouldn’t be any issues on loading either game with Google Chrome now or in the future. Other browsers should work well too, including Firefox. Also, as a plus, you can now play these games on the web through Linux too. To play either game, you can use the links in the menu above.

  • Snow Fort Defense now available at IndieDB

All three downloadable versions of Snow Fort Defense are now available at IndieDB too. Click on the button below to access the game’s page at that site. (The link has also been added to our Snow Fort Defense page)

  • Snow Fort Defense update 1.0.1 available

Snow Fort Defense update 1.0.1 available

A small update for Snow Fort Defense is now available for the Linux version of the game. This small update simply makes resolutions that aren’t really compatible with the game look better. Since this issue only happens in the Linux version, no other version has been affected.
